Can I request that my child be placed on a certain team?
Tee Ball: We can handle a limited number of requests to be paired with a certain coach or another player (friend, relative). You can make such requests after you register your child by emailing the player agent [email protected] we will do our best to honor them. But no guarantees, thank-you.
AA: We can handle a very limited number of requests if they are for carpooling purposes.
AAA: Players are drafted onto teams in the AAA division, so we cannot honor requests at this level.
Majors: Players are drafted onto teams in the Majors division, so we cannot honor requests at this level.
Intermediate: Players are drafted onto teams in the Intermediate division, so we cannot honor requests at this level.
If I volunteer to be a coach, will my child play on my team?
Yes!
How long does the season last?
Practices start in February. Games start in mid-March and run through the end of May.
What is my child's League Age?
Your child's League Age is his/her age on August 31, 2025. See the Little League Age Chart.
What kind of schedule can I expect for my child's team?
We use four different locations for practice fields: Monarch Elementary School, Baywood Elementary School, Los Osos Middle School, and Lila Kaiser Park. The practice field that your child uses will depend on the team he or she is on.
The practice days and times are chosen by the team's coaching staff. The number of games and practices depends on the division.
Tee Ball: One practice per week and one game every Saturday.
AA: During the pre-season, AA teams will have 1 or 2 practices per week. During the season, AA teams will have 1 weekday practice, possible weekday game, and a Saturday game.
AAA: During the pre-season, AAA teams will have 2 practices per week. During the season AAA teams will typically have one or two weekday practices, a weekday game, and a Saturday game.
Majors: During the pre-season, Majors teams will have 2 practices per week. During the season Majors teams will typically have two weekday practices, a weekday game, and a Saturday game.
Intermediate: During the pre-season, Intermediate teams will have 2 practices per week. During the season Intermediate teams will typically have two weekday practices, a weekday game, and a Saturday game. Intermediate teams will potentially travel to Arroyo Grande and/or Santa Maria on some Saturdays for Inter-League play.
